MY PERSUASIVE WRITING

This week I have completed a piece of persuasive writing about GMO vs ORGANIC and I picked ORGANIC.

My 3 main points were, that it is better for people, it is better for animals,

and that there would be more jobs.

Here is a bit of my writing.

I really liked doing this  and I think that organic is a lot better 

for the earth and people.

I learned that  ORGANIC is really important for the world 

so we should keep doing it.

I wonder if the world will go pro-organic?

MY QUICK WRITE 

Every day before we start our literacy we do a 5 min quick write to warm up. This week we are focusing on idioms. An idiom is a sentence that doesn't make much. Here are a few idioms, a piece of cake, bull in a china shop, missing the boat.

Here is my work.

We have a picture and write about it every day the starter we got 

for this piece of writing is of a mushroom adult reading a book 

and 2 little mushrooms.

 MY LUNCHBOX

This week we have been learning about fresh food and how it goes bad .

 Our work was to make a diagram about how the food in our lunchbox 

goes mouldy and unhealthy.

 Here I have put the stuff that I have in my lunch box every day. I have yogurt, a sandwich, veges, 1 oaty bar, some shapes, and dried cramberrys. I decided that the sandwich will go moldy and gross first because there are lots of different things in a sandwich. 

What I have learned is that some things go moldy faster than others also that you should not leave food in 

your lunch box. I wonder if mould and fungi grows on nonliving things?
